Sugar Leaf Bakery & Cafe, located in Branson's beautiful Grand Village Shops, is way above and far beyond a typical "bake shop with sandwiches" type eatery...it's in an exceptional category that's all its own!  Stepping inside is reminiscent of walking into a quaint cafe in Paris or the English countryside, and the charming ambiance is only exceeded by the sensational smells, tantalizing textures, and fabulous flavors found in each and every sandwich, soup, salad, pie, cake, muffin, cupcake, cookie, bread, cobbler, and variety of other eats and treats.  Unless you've strolled the cobblestone walkways of the oh-so-lovely Grand Village, Sugar Leaf may be Branson's best kept secret, one that seems surprising considering how busy the place can get!  The excellent service, along with the sights and scents of the goodies on display, makes the fast-moving line a pleasant experience - the flavorful reward is more than worth the wait!  A Chopped Village Salad, brimming with green leaf lettuce, red onion, crumbled feta cheese, toasted almonds, and roma tomatoes, served with a cilantro vinaigrette, is but one example of the creative preparation that takes place.  Or how about the Mesquite Chicken Sandwich, made with homemade ancho chili bread, chicken, lettuce, tomato, smoked gouda cheese, and topped with mesquite sauce?  Scrumptious!  Choosing dessert might be a challenge -- there's often a bakery selection that ranges from Gooseberry Cobbler to Sugar Cookies, and everything is pure heaven!  If you're looking for a dining experience that's anything but ordinary, or baked goods worth writing home about, then you're looking for Sugar Leaf Bakery & Cafe in Branson!
