"Great burgers and excellent value"

I had heard that the burgers were great and this the first one I have seen, we do not have Steak and Shake in St Cloud, MN. We ordered a California burger and an original double burger. The burgers had great flavor and were juicy, opted for water for beverage and the bill was $8.00. Great food and great price.

My wife and I love Steak N' Shake and we were excited to see one here in Branson. We were on our way to Branson Cafe and swerved quickly off the road to eat at Steak N' Shake instead. You won't be disappointed with the Chipotle Steak Burger. Also, get chili and cheese on the fries. Top it off with a big ole milkshake. And for the same price as the "gourmet" burgers at McDonald's or Wendy's.

Really great burgers, and patty melts along with the best hand-made shakes and malts I've ever had in a fast-food place. Our traveling companions say they always look for a Steak & Shake in every city they visit, and now I know why. Wish we had them in Little Rock!

They have the best milkshakes around. Also have an excellent variety to choose from. Steakburgers are great, as are the patty melts & chicken sandwiches. Kids love the chicken fingers or chili mac.

Great place to eat, on 76 or across from Roy Rogers. ALways great food and service. Good value for your money, great place for a quick or light meal, Steak N Shake isn't the fast food it once was. It is a sit down meal with breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals to select from.

"Noisy atmosphere"

I like the variety at Steak N Shake, but I've always felt their food was a little over-priced considering the portions. I wasn't too impressed with my visit to this one (across from Celebration City). It was rather crowded and quite noisy. The service was not impressive, and we had to wait forever at the front counter just to pay for our meal (after having waited a very long time before someone came to take our order in the first place).
