"Horrible food but decent service"

My wife and I ate here and the food was the worst food we’ve gotten from a restaurant. The steak had a very off taste, the catfish was extremely bland, and the ribs were dried out horribly. The ribs tasted like they were prepared several hours in advance and reheated. Once taking a bite I couldn’t stop chewing it. The baked potato was the best thing I ate. Will not go back!!! Please don’t waste your time and money!

Second time we have been there. First time was amazing we had the ribs and catfish...very yummy. Second visit..not so good. I has the french dip and onion rings...absolutely tasteless and cold. My boyfriend had the grilled shrimp and fried catfish. Shrimp was stone cold and had no seasoning. The fish was good and hot but the breading had no seasoning it was also tasteless. I should of said something but just didnt want to complain. Definitely wasn't worth the $35 we paid. We were there on Saturday oct 7th 2017 wont go again and we live here in branson!

The tornado devasted many businesses on the strip in Branson in 2012 BUT they have resilience and have or still in process of rebuilding. Charlie's to open very soon with new building.

Everytime my husband and I are in Branson, we HAVE to eat at Charlie's. It is reasonable price and VERY good to eat. We make it to Branson about 2 times a year, we eat there several times each visit.

Terrible experience all around. We had the worst service (waitress badly came by, didn't speak, acted like she was mad that she was working, messed up out ticket), the food was bad (gravy on top of chicken fried steak was cold, ribeye was tough and flavorless), and they charged us 15% gratuity when we had 4 adults, 2 four year olds, and an infant. They said that was 7 so "tough sh*t". That was the worst dinning experience I have had ever. The lady singing was good tho.

We go to Branson several times a year. We always try to make it to Charlies! We love it, our kids love it and our pocketbook loves it,lol. They have the best ribs and sweet potatoes and that is what we always order. We do skip the baked beans, they are kind of bland. My husband likes the beer from the microbrewery and I love the sweet tea. My daughter loves to sing along with the live entertainment. It's just a really great place in Branson. Make time to check it out!!

I went to Charlie Steak Ribs and Ale the other night and it was absolutely amazing! I suggest to everyone who visits Branson that this is a must place to eat while they are here. I am a huge fan of BBQ and their ribs were fantastic! They were so juicy and perfectly seasoned. My husband ordered the ribeye and loved it too. Charlies also has a microbrewery which makes this place so unique because it is the only one in Branson. You must try their wheat! The also have incredible lunch specials. On Thursday until three they have an 8oz sirloin with all the sides for only $5.99! Which is great for anyone who is trying to save a buck every know and then!

Obviously everything closes early in Branson @ this time of the year. We went for dinner around 8 p.m. and it was like a ghost town. We had good service and the atmosphere is really neat. Lots to look at on the walls. Someone's kids really loved it as they were screamming and running thru the place like they owned it. The steaks were OK. Tried several of their micro brewed beers...kinda week, but OK. We try a brewery in each location of our vacations and this is probably at the bottom of our list. The singer was good for the 5 minutes she sang before packing up to leave.

hey! everyone you will love dining at charlies, i and my family did, the entertainer, well! she was great, which made our dining experience really enjoyable. their pub is to die for everyone, from: employee's to: guest were all very friendly and fun, they had a bartender named: francios (frank), he really knew how to; light up the place,,,,,he did kareoke and he sings really good and the croud did too,,,,,,,,we had a great time and, i know when we go back near branson,mo. we will always go back to: charlies, because everything was wonderful and un-forgetable...:) by the way! the prices are great and you get alot of food for the price. go! try the place out on the weekend, or hey! rib nite,,,,,,,,,,,mmmmmm.
