White River Fish House

It was a delightful atmosphere, and the food was so good.

Everything we have had on previous visits, to include sea food, chicken has been great. But this visit I had the Trophy Burger. Big and tall in looks, but tasted like a cooked shoe. No taste no matter what I added. Fries were good. The only other thing negative about this restaurant is the hostesses, not personable, they make you feel like a number. Now this has been the case our last 4 visits. If they could change this I would recommend this as th3 Best Restaurant in Branson, but until then I won’t. Feeling welcome means alot to this southern boy.

We spent an extended week in Branson the 3rd week of June & had a late lunch almost everyday at WRFH & Love'd all aspects of the dinning experience. The wait staff was very friendly & polite to the Nth degree. All the menu items we had were excellent & the corn bread was icing on the cake. Their drink selection was also over the top but for those that love Bloody Mary's - their Demitris Mix...made all the difference. Wow Can't wait to go back to Branson to eat at WRFH.

Visiting Branson from South Carolina and was told to try the fish house. Please don't waste your time or money. The food is terrible, the trout tasted old and the broccoli was solid brown. I would not recommend this place to anyone visiting Branson. Always waiting on server and the cornbread was ice cold.

My wife and I come to Branson several times a year. We always eat here at least once. Food, service, and atmosphere are outstanding.

The food was very bland. The chef needs to learn how to season the food.

Food was awful pan fried potatoes burnt to a crisp, over rated. My husband did not enjoy his food. Upon commenting on the potatoes, waiter stated "that is just the way they are cooked" did not offer to re-cook them. Who does that? Very disappointed did not wait around for dessert!

The atmosphere is fabulous whether eating inside or out on the deck on Lake Taneycomo!!! We eat there often since we're somewhat local (kimberling area) and I'm in love with their coconut shrimp. Normally I don't like cornbread, but theirs is fantastic!

We live in Phoenix and stumbled into The White River Fish House while on a vacation in Branson about three years ago. We were surprised when we discovered it's the same restaurant we have in Mesa, AZ only it's called Islamorada Fish Company and it's located inside Bass Pro. We missed the Bimini bread, but corn bread is probably more appropriate for this Ozark location. I ordered salmon, and it was cooked perfectly. Our server was speedy, friendly and helpful. I was experiencing low blood sugar symptoms and she was so thoughtful and brought corn bread immediately. It was like being home in familiar surroundings, only better, because this location on the water is the best. It's awesome. We've enjoyed our dining experience in all the Bass Pro restaurants we have visited, but this one in Branson is my favorite because of the location. We plan to be back next month, October/2013. We went here for a birthday dinner after seeing the reviews. The food is awesome along with the views. I had panfried trout and the others had mahi mahi with crab. I wished we lived in the area just to eat here more often. Need to put one of these restaurants in the Clarksville IN store.
