Panda House

Branson's Panda House offers one of the biggest menus you'll find anywhere, and it's packed full of delicious Chinese dishes!  Located just slightly off the beaten Branson path, you'll find the "popular with locals" restaurant on Highway 248, just a hop, skip, and a jump from the Mansion Entertainment Center and Sight & Sound Theatres, two of the area's most beautiful venues for live shows and other productions.  Most Chinese places offer just a couple of soups, the Panda House offers ten, including flavorful options like Chicken Noodle or Chicken Rice, House Special Seafood, Wonton Eggdrop Mix, and Hot & Sour Soup.  There's also a long list of appetizers, like Shrimp Roll, Shanghai Spring Roll, Fried Wonton, and even French Fries.  You'll also discover a variety of Lo Mein, Chow Mein, Fried Rice, Egg Foo Young, Moo Shu, and Sweet & Sour entrees.  And plenty of choices can be found if you like beef, chicken, pork, or seafood Chinese dishes.  All of the Chef's Specialties are delightfully appetizing, and there's even a nice menu of items for folks on a diet!  There's no shortage of good Chinese eateries in Branson, but some rise above, and that's where you'll find the locals returning time and again -- the Panda House is one of those special places!

We pass through Branson a couple times a year. About 5-6 years ago we discovered Panda House. The freshness of the white meat chunks really set them apart and kept us stopping in. However, something has changed. Tonight was our 3rd attempt to prove that the last two times were just flukes but the quality has consistently been downgraded. Now the chicken is dry and the coating is usually slumped off. This makes me sad to say but we have given up.

I took children to eat here. Not a lot of healthy options that you would expect at an Oriental Restaurant. Be forewarned, the price for a 10 year old is $4, but the price for a 11 yr old is $10.. Yikes. We will not be back due to prices and not so healthy selections.

This was our very first time. I took one piece of everything; it was delicious. Just great for a first time visit. We will try it again. The only complaint: the cheese sticks were a bit on the cool side [temperature, that is] & cantaloupe a bit green; otherwise, everything was GREAT including the service. Sarah [our wait person] was great -- not pushy at all but attentive to our needs.

Go here all the time! Dinner is only like $8 for the buffet, friendly, homey atmosphere, but best of all its so fresh..not your typical chinese buffet!
